Jackson Estate & AEG Agree to Pay a Million for Michael’s Memorial

Michael Jackson's estate and concert promoter AEG have agreed to donate $1.3 million to the city of L.A. for the King of Pop's 2009 public memorial. The July 7, 2009 memorial at the STAPLES Center incurred $1.3 million in police services, permits, and Sanitation Department and Transportation Department expenses, the City's Chief Administrative Officer determined. Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and AEG President & CEO Timothy J. Leiweke announced that the Jackson estate and AEG will donate $1 million to the city of Los Angeles' general fund and an additional $300,000 in cash and needed crime-fighting equipment through financial contributions to the L.A. Police Foundation.

In an email obtained by ABC news, Anita van der Sloot claims her son is innocent, saying, "he is not a murderer." His mother goes on to cite distrust for news agencies and suggests he is being set up. "I am not giving interviews to any American media station because I don't trust them," the email sent to her son's ex-girlfriend Melody Granadillo and published by ABC states. "Stay safe and pray for Joran. He is not the monster they like the world to see. He is traumatized, depressed an has an addiction. He is not a murderer. It stinks and feels like a big trap set up for him."

The basketball season came to a roaring close with an epic showdown between the LA Lakers and the Boston Celtics in game seven of the NBA Championships. With the home court advantage and an arena full of spirited celebs, the purple and gold proved to be golden. ET's Kevin Frazier snagged MVP Kobe Bryant for a few words after his heroic win. Floating on cloud nine, Kobe said, "This is the sweetest one because it's the hardest one. Still, right now, I have no idea how we won. Feels like I'm dreaming." After a score teeter-tottering back and forth for four quarters, the Lakers earned their second straight championship, with a final score of 83-79. Terrell Owens commented on how the result came "down to the wire," saying, "This game is never over until till it's zeros across the clock." Attorney: Test Shows Lindsay Lohan Was Alcohol-Free

Lindsay Lohan's lawyer reportedly says a test result indicates that there was no alcohol in Lohan's system when her SCRAM bracelet sounded off earlier this month. Soon after the device issued its alert, a urine test was conducted and it returned a negative result for alcohol, Lohan's attorney Shawn Chapman Holley tells People.com. Holley denies Lohan tampered with the device. The site says a spokesperson for the L.A. District Attorney was unaware of the purported test result.

Gary Coleman Cremated

Gary Coleman's remains were cremated in a private proceeding in Utah on Thursday. Robert L. Jeffs, an attorney for Coleman's estate, tells ET that Coleman was cremated at Lake Hills Memorial Mortuary in Sandy, Utah at 5:15 p.m. "The proceeding was conducted in accordance with Mr. Coleman's desires as expressed in his Will, that no funeral service, wake, or other ceremony memorialize his passing," Jeffs says.

Marcia Gay Harden, Joely Fisher and 'The Twilight Saga' screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg were honored on Tuesday for their social and philanthropic contributions at Prevention magazine's first-ever "Spotlight on Hollywood Heroes: An Evening Honoring Hollywood’s Most Philanthropic Women." "People may not realize that the largest group of women who are homeless are victims of domestic violence and they've left that situation and are trying to start a new life," said Marcia of her charity of choice, Help USA, which provides home, jobs and services for those in need. "There's a lovely synchronicity tonight with Prevention." Joely is an ambassador for Save the Children, and she said she went to Mozambique, Africa to see the devastation of AIDS on the populace firsthand. Of Prevention's event, she said, "We're working hard and we're so proud to be part of this alliance."

Natalee Holloway’s Brother: Joran van der Sloot ‘Just Trying to Get a Lighter Sentence’

The brother of Natalee Holloway, who went missing in Aruba in 2005, is reportedly speaking out about Joran van der Sloot. Van der Sloot, now a murder suspect in Peru related to the death of Stephany Flores Ramirez, was twice arrested and later released related to Holloway's disappearance in 2005.  Holloway's younger brother Matt tells People magazine, "[Van der Sloot is] just trying to get a lighter sentence…Right now he just knows he's pretty much screwed on murder."

Love is in the air for former "Ugly Betty" star America Ferrera! The actress, 26, is engaged to longtime boyfriend Ryan Piers Williams, People.com reports. On Wednesday, June 16, Ferrera was spotted wearing what looked to be a diamond on her ring finger at the Edinburgh Film Festival in Scotland.

Just In: Calista Flockhart & Harrison Ford’s Marriage License

It's official! ET has obtained the marriage license of Calista Flockhart and Harrison Ford. The license was filed in the county of Santa Fe, New Mexico and was signed by both Flockhart and Ford on Tuesday, June 15. ET confirmed that Ford, 67, and Flockhart, 45, wed at the Governor's Mansion in the state's capital of Santa Fe, and Governor Bill Richardson of New Mexico performed the ceremony. Flockhart's son Liam joined the happy couple for the wedding.
