ET is bringing you behind the scenes of Isaiah Washington's new PSA in support of gay marriage rights.
Washington made the public service announcement for the NO H8 campaign, which was launched by photographer Adam Bouska and partner Jeff Parshley in opposition to the passage of Proposition 8, which banned gay marriage in California.
A number of celebs have also posed for NO H8 campaign photos, including Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and hubby Pete Wentz, director Bryan Singer, Fran Drescher and John McCain's daughter Meghan, as well as hundreds of private citizens. The photos feature subjects with duct tape over their mouths, symbolizing their voices not being heard, and NO H8 painted on one cheek in protest.

Matthew Broderick, Vince Vaughn, and Ben Stein were among the mourners who attended the private funeral of film director John Hughes.
The Associated Press reports that the renowned director of 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off' and 'The Breakfast Club,' was remembered by family and friends on Tuesday at a private ceremony at Wenban Funeral Home in Lake Forest, IL.
Ben Stein, who played the infamous teacher in 'Ferris Bueller’s Day Off,' was a speaker during the memorial -- calling the service "very touching," according to the AP. Following the service, mourners proceeded to a nearby cemetery, where the late director was to be laid to rest.

ET has learned that the reported girlfriend of Cameron Douglas, actor Michael Douglas' son, was arrested for trying to pass him drugs while in court. Read on for details…
Kelly Sott was arrested Monday after a law enforcement official says that she attempted to pass Douglas heroin that was hidden in an electric toothbrush.
Douglas, 30, was arrested on July 28 after he was allegedly caught dealing methamphetamine at New York's upscale Hotel Gansevoort, the Associated Press reports. Cameron was also arrested in California in 2007 on cocaine possession charges, says the AP.

California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and President Barack Obama express their grief to ET over the passing of Eunice Kennedy Shriver.
"I am immensely saddened by the passing of my mother-in-law, Eunice Kennedy Shriver," Gov. Schwarzenegger says.
"Eunice was the light of our family," he adds. "She meant so much, not only to us, but to our country and to the world. She was a pioneer who worked tirelessly for social and scientific advances that have changed the lives of millions of developmentally disabled people all over the world.

Bob Saget and more celebs stepped out for the first annual Bernie Brillstein Golf Classic.
The stars picked up their golf clubs to raise funds for the Barlow Respiratory Hospital, where famed producer and talent manager Brillstein was a former patient. Brillstein passed away in August of 2008. Watch our video for more.

Eunice Kennedy Shriver, the sister of President John F. Kennedy and mother to California First Lady Maria Shriver, has died. She was 88.
Mrs. Kennedy Shriver passed away at 2 a.m. Tuesday morning at Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis. She had suffered a series of strokes in recent years, the Associated Press reports.
One of nine children born to Rose and Joseph P. Kennedy Sr., Eunice was born in Massachusetts in 1921. A graduate of Stanford University, the achievement she will perhaps be best remembered for was helping to found the national Special Olympics organization, a cause to which she remained committed throughout her life.

Neil Diamond is dishing details to ET about his highly anticipated upcoming concert special which highlights his steps from life in Brooklyn to playing to a packed house at New York City's Madison Square Garden. ET has that latest from inside the courtroom proceedings regarding Michael Jackson's estate. ET has learned that a guardian ad litem will be appointed to look after the interests of Jackson's three children, "Prince" Michael, Paris, and "Blanket," in court proceedings. The Associated Press reports that Judge Mitchell Beckloff did not rule on merchandising deals during Monday's proceedings because Katherine Jackson raised concerns about it. The potential deals are between the Jackson estate, concert promoter AEG Live and Bravado, a merchandiser, says the AP.
