DJ AM Laid to Rest

Celebrity club disc-jockey Adam "DJ AM" Goldstein was laid to rest at his funeral in Culver City, CA on Wednesday afternoon. The late star's friend Travis Barker was among the mourners attending the service at Hillside Memorial Park. Goldstein was found dead at the age of 36 last Friday. His mother Andrea Gross has filed court documents requesting that she be appointed the special administrator of his estate.

Now that Jaycee Dugard has found freedom after 18 years of captivity, the world is wondering what will happen next -- and how her two children with accused kidnapper Phillip Garrido will adjust to a life outside the walls of their hidden backyard encampment. Dr. Mark Goulston, author of the new book Just Listen, out September 15, tells ET that re-assimilating after long-term captivity is not without difficulty. "When you are geared towards survival, your whole being doesn't know what to do with freedom," says Dr. Goulston. "So freedom could actually be temporarily traumatic to them."

DJ AM’s Mother Files Court Documents Related to Son’s Estate

In the wake of celeb club disc jockey DJ AM's death, his mother Andrea Gross has just filed court documents in Los Angeles Superior Court, in which she requests to be appointed special administrator of her late son's estate. In the documents obtained by ET, Gross is seeking to be appointed special administrator of Adam "DJ AM" Goldstein's estate so that she can "move forward with the sale" of the star's home, which she claims her son was in the process of doing. Gross also seeks to be special administrator so that she can be party to the legal proceedings and possible future settlement of the civil suit DJ AM was involved in relating to his 2008 plane crash injuries.

Jackson’s Estate to Pay for Burial

Michael Jackson will finally be laid to rest tomorrow at sunset, and his estate will foot the bill. A judge has granted a request by the late singer's mother, Katherine Jackson, to have Michael's estate pay for the burial.  The burial service to be held on Thursday, September 3 at Glendale Forest Lawn Memorial Park. ET has learned that tonight at 7:30 there will be a full dress rehearsal of the funeral ceremony with four cameras and musical performances, including Aretha Franklin.

In a telling new interview, Levi Johnston opens up about what his one-time future mother-in-law and former Republican Vice President hopeful Sarah Palin was really like behind closed doors and how she wanted to adopt his and Bristol Palin's baby so that the young couple "didn't have to worry about anything." "She told me that once Bristol had the baby she and Todd would adopt him," he says in the upcoming issue of Vanity Fair. "That way, she said, Bristol and I didn't have to worry about anything. Sarah kept mentioning this plan. She was nagging -- she wouldn't give up. She would say, 'So, are you gonna let me adopt him?' Joyce DeWitt Charged with DUI

ET has learned that former "Three's Company" star Joyce DeWitt has been charged with driving under the influence. The charges -- one count of driving under the influence and one for driving with a blood alcohol over .08% -- stem from her run in with the law earlier this year. The TV actress was arrested in El Segundo, Calif. on July 4 by police after officers say they witnessed her drive past a barricade intended to keep away traffic. At the time, officials told ET they administered a field sobriety test on the 60-year-old after police officers say they observed signs of alcohol intoxication.

Michael Jackson’s Personal Chef & Security Interviewed by LAPD

ET has the latest in the Michael Jackson death investigation. LAPD confirms that they have conducted new interviews with Alberto Alvarez -- who made the 911 call -- and Michael Amir, Jackson's chef. It is the second time the men have been interviewed. A rep for the department tells ET: "The information that was gained from both men was extremely helpful to the investigation. Both men were very thoughtful and honest with their answers, and both of their stories were consistent. Total time the two were interviewed was about 2 1/2 hours."

Jerry Lewis’ Telethon to Pay Tribute to Ed McMahon

There are just a few days left until Jerry Lewis' annual Labor Day telethon and the telethon plans to pay homage to the late Ed McMahon. The telethon benefits the nonprofit organization, MDA (Muscular Dystrophy Association), which focuses on research, public health education and support services to fight muscular dystrophy and its 40 related conditions. Television icon and regular guest on the telethon, McMahon, passed away on June 23. He was 86.
