Denise Richards breaks her silence for the first time since her ex-husband Charlie Sheen's alleged domestic dispute that took place on Christmas day with his current wife Brooke Mueller. Richards tells Oprah Winfrey that Sheen called her collect from jail, saying that he didn't want the day to go by without saying Merry Christmas to their daughters, Lola and Sam. "It's sad. It's a sad situation. ... Their dad was in jail on Christmas," Richards says, adding that her daughter learned that her father was behind bars from a child in her kindergarten class. When asked if she thinks Sheen has a problem, Richards responds, "Yeah, I think that Charlie has a very sharp tongue. ... He played on my insecurities."

Actor James McAvoy is going to be a daddy! Known for his roles in 'Wanted' and 'Atonement,' the 30-year-old actor is expecting his first child with wife Anne-Marie Duff, 39, People.com reports. "We are happy to confirm that James McAvoy and Anne-Marie Duff are expecting their first child," McAvoy's rep told the publication. "We have no further comment or information at this time."

Making good on his promise, John Travolta personally flew a Boeing 707 to Haiti with relief supplies. The actor and his wife, Kelly Preston,  flew to Haiti with six tons of ready-to-eat military rations and medical supplies, the Associated Press reports. Fuel for the trip was provided by Qantas airlines. "We have the ability to actually help make a difference in the situation in Haiti and I just can't see not using this plane to help," he told reporters on the ground.

The 84-year-old entertainer shared his excitement with ET about reprising the latter role on stage at the Ahmanson Theatre on Friday night.

Jessica Simpson and her pals Cacee Cobb and Ken Paves are teaming up with the Nashville charity Soles4Souls to accumulate 50,000 pairs of shoes in 50 days for victims of the Haitian earthquake crisis. In the wake of Nancy Kerrigan's father's death and the arrest of her brother on Sunday, the skating champ's figure-skating peers have reportedly reached out to her to share their condolences. People reports that Kristi Yamaguchi sent Kerrigan her condolences via text mail. According to the mag, Kerrigan replied, "Thank you…I appreciate all the support I've been getting." "I am so saddened for Nancy," Yamaguchi said. "My heart goes out to Nancy and her family."

Over the weekend, John Travolta announced his plans to fly a plane stocked with supplies and carrying relief workers to Haiti. Travolta will touch down in the earthquake-ravaged country late Monday night. Following the news earlier this month that actor Dennis Hopper had filed for divorce amid his battle with cancer, his estranged wife is now seeking full custody of their daughter. Victoria Hopper filed divorce documents on Monday citing irreconcilable differences behind their split and asking for full custody of their 6-year-old daughter. She is, however, asking that visitation rights be granted to the star. Dennis' divorce petition, obtained by ET and filed on January 14, indicated that he was seeking joint custody of his daughter and asked that the judge award his wife spousal support.
