PGA Commissioner Says Tiger Woods Went to Rehab

PGA TOUR Commissioner Tim Finchem has confirmed that Tiger Woods went to rehab. In an interview transcript, which was posted on the PGA TOUR Web site on Thursday, Finchem commented about Woods' upcoming press conference, saying in part: "I don't know what [Woods'] plans are in terms of what he's going to say. I don't know what he's going to do after he finishes his rehab, you know, I think all of that is TBD. You all will make up your own minds about that and write about it and so will fans and people that have been impacted by it." According to ABC News, Finchem also said, "He got out of rehab last week … and he spent some time with his family, and he has time for this tomorrow and he’ll address the details of that tomorrow."

Drew Barrymore and Wanda Sykes to be Honored by GLAAD

Drew Barrymore and Wanda Sykes have been named as honorees at this spring's GLAAD Media Awards. The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) announced that Barrymore will receive the Vanguard award, while Sykes will be honored with the Stephen F. Kolzak award at the 21st annual awards in Los Angeles on April 17. Barrymore's Vanguard award is given to individuals who have increased the visibility and understanding of the LGBT community. "I was born, bred and raised among diversity, it has defined me and made me the person I am today," Barrymore said of the news. "I'm honored and humbled to be receiving this award."

Joe Logan on Tiger Woods: ‘You’ve Got Some Explaining To Do’

Sports writer Joe Logan, executive producer of myphillygolf.com, weighs in on Friday's scheduled Tiger Woods press conference, telling ET, "People will watch him very closely tomorrow to see if this man is truly sorry for what he's done." "It is a very controlled environment," says Logan of the way the press conference is being handled. "No one will be able to ask questions. Tiger is going to read a statement, and that's it. ... No one thinks this is the right way to do it that I've talked to. They think he needs to answer questions." Daredevil Jesse James has a soft spot for another lady besides wife Sandra Bullock -- his beloved dog Cinnabun, who went missing last month. "It's been just over 3 weeks since we last saw her," a new blog post on his West Coast Choppers Web site says. "[We] were starting to wonder if we’d ever get her back." After putting out a reward and receiving several false alarms, a woman named Rosaura in Los Angeles found the missing pooch and happily returned her to her owner.

In what is believed to be his first public sighting since his headline-grabbing car accident last November, Tiger Woods was snapped taking a jog outside on Wednesday near Orlando, FL. The public sighting comes on the heels of the news that Woods will hold a press conference on Friday morning at 11 a.m. at the PGA Tour headquarters to apologize for his behavior and discuss what's to come in the future for him.
