Tiger Woods Earns His Best Score Ever on Masters Opening Day
Nearly five months after his personal life made headlines, golf great Tiger Woods earned his best score ever on the first day of the Masters.
The Associated Press reports that Woods shot a 4-under-par 68 on Thursday, also having multiple eagles for his first time ever in an Augusta round.
"It was unbelievable, the whole day," Woods said, according to the AP. "The people, I haven't heard them cheer this loud in all my years coming here. It certainly helped keep my spirits up."
