Stars Support Haitian Earthquake Victims at Fashion Show
The stars spoke out in support of victims of Tuesday's cataclysmic earthquake in Haiti.
"I work in Haiti, I’ve been to Haiti, my friends are in Haiti right now, digging out other friends," actress Maria Bello told ET at the event. "I work with an organization called ArtistsforPeaceandJustice.com. We give 100 percent of the money to Haiti to people who are working on the ground at a children’s hospital, a hospital for disabled kids, many orphanages and street schools and it’s devastating what’s happening there."
Other celebs including Taraji P. Henson, Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon and more stars all sent their support to Haitian earthquake victims as they attended the Ninth Annual Awards Season Diamond Fashion Show Preview, hosted by The Diamond Center and InStyle magazine. Other stars in attendance like Rachel Bilson, Alfre Woodard and her daughter Mavis Spencer (who will be Miss Golden Globe this Sunday) also commented on topics like the importance of non-conflict diamonds.
