Siegfried & Roy Retire to their Den
One half of the famed stage-show duo Siegfried and Roy, Siegfried Fischbacher announced the act's retirement in a German publication on Tuesday, according to the Associated Press.
The AP quotes him as saying to the magazine Neues Blatt, "Roy and I miss our audience, but there will not be a comeback."
Partner Roy Horn was left partially paralyzed following a devastating attack by one of their white tiger's during a 2003 performance. In regards to Roy's recovery, Siegfried said, "It is a miracle that he can stand on his own feet again and enjoy life."
