Russell Brand Arrested by Photographer

Russell Brand, star of the upcoming 'Arthur' remake, was placed under citizen's arrest at Los Angeles International Airport on Friday afternoon after having an alleged run-in with a photographer while walking through the airport with fiancee Katy Perry.

ET has learned that Los Angeles Airport Police responded to a report of alleged battery involving a celebrity and a photographer.

The victim involved in the alleged incident placed Brand under private person's arrest, and airport police took Brand into custody on suspicion of battery.
