Ricki Lake and More Celebs Discuss Obesity Epidemic
Ricki Lake, Rachel Hunter, "Real Housewife of NYC" Jill Zarin and more celebs took part in a panel discussion about obesity in America at the Sundance Film Festival.
Ricki, who moderated the event, titled Obsession: A Luncheon of Conspicuous Consumption, said on the red carpet, "I've done every diet imaginable over the years. I mean, I've been, you know, 260 pounds, I’ve been 120 pounds, ... but, you know, I watch what I eat. I mean, I'm 41. I really monitor it and I work out ... and it's not even a matter of being a certain size, it's about how I feel."
Jill chimed in, "The reality of life is that people judge you by your appearance. I mean, looks count. People don't want to admit it but [they do], and that's the first thing [people] see is your physical being."
