Police Report Details ‘Struggle’ Prior to Nancy Kerrigan’s Father’s Death
ET has obtained the police report related to the death of Nancy Kerrigan's father and the arrest of the skating champ's brother.
In the report, Stoneham police claim they responded to a call on Sunday that involved an "unconscious male" and "domestic situation." The report says that Nancy's 70-year-old father, Daniel Kerrigan, was unconscious on the kitchen floor, where officers noticed blood and misplacement of pictures on the wall. Nancy's brother Mark Kerrigan told officers, according to the report, that he wanted to use the phone and his father would not allow him to do so. He also reportedly told police he put his hands around his father's neck and his father fell to the floor.
Police claim Mark was "verbally abusive" and "belligerent." They write, in the report, that Nancy's mother, Brenda Kerrigan, told them that the father and son had been yelling at one another and shoving each other, until Daniel fell to the floor.
