Police: Paris Hilton Detained in South Africa for Alleged Drug Possession

Paris Hilton was reportedly detained in South Africa for allegedly being in possession of marijuana.

Citing two South African police officers who spoke on the condition of anonymity, the Associated Press reports that Hilton was detained in Port Elizabeth.

A police spokesperson declined to confirm the name of the person detained, but told the AP it was a high profile person who would appear in court on drug charges.
