Oksana Grigorieva’s Rep: There is No Credible Evidence of Extortion

A rep for Mel Gibson's ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva is reacting to the news that she is under investigation for extortion.

"To specifically address the allegations, my client, Ms. Grigorieva, has repeatedly stated that there is no credible evidence whatsoever of extortion by her, and she stands steadfastly by that statement," Grigorieva's rep Stephen Jaffe tells ET.

Earlier Wednesday, The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department confirmed to Entertainment Tonight that it is investigating extortion allegations against Grigorieva. Jaffe previously told ET that audio tapes of what is purported to be an enraged Gibson were not edited or altered.
