New Details: Bret Michaels’ Hospitalization

Reps for Bret Michaels are revealing where the ailing rocker has been hospitalized, and the lead neurosurgeon treating him says, "Bret's sheer will to live and fully recover is undeniable."

Michaels, who suffered a brain hemorrhage last week, is being treated at the Barrow Neurological Institute -- one of the world’s leading neurological centers, according to his reps -- at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona.

"In the days following Mr. Michaels' hospitalization, due to a subarachnoid hemorrhage, there was a lot of speculation as to where Mr. Michaels was being treated. Due to the severity of his life-threatening condition, the instantaneous way in which the hemorrhage presented itself, and [out of] respect for his family, his location was not confirmed to the media," Michaels' reps explain.
