Nancy Reagan: Fess Parker Will Be Greatly Missed
Former First Lady Nancy Reagan is opening up about the Thursday death of Fess Parker, who memorably played Davy Crockett and Daniel Boone on TV.
Reagan tells ET: "I was terribly sorry to hear of the passing of Fess Parker today. He was a longtime friend to Ronnie and me, and I was always grateful for his support of the annual tennis tournament which benefited my anti-drug program. He will be greatly missed, especially in the Santa Barbara community. My heart goes out to his wife Marcie, his children Eli and Ashley, and his entire family."
Parker passed away of natural causes at his home in Santa Ynez, Calif. on Thursday morning, says the Associated Press. He was 85.
