Mo’Nique Reacts to Tragic Murder of ‘Mo’Nique Show’ Staffer

Mo'Nique opens up to ET following the tragic death of Maureen Allaben, a set decorator for "The Mo'Nique Show" and an Atlanta-area food stylist.

Mo'Nique told ET on Thursday: "We are all saddened by Maureen's passing, but we also rejoice in having had the opportunity to know her sweet, soulful spirit. Live each day to the fullest."

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported Wednesday that Allaben was killed by her husband last Sunday. According to the paper, Dennis Allaben turned himself in to Atlanta police on Tuesday after reportedly driving around for two days with his 43-year-old wife's body in the bed of his pickup truck.
