Michael Jackson Estate Administrators Seeking Funds

The administrators of Michael Jackson's estate and a host of attorneys are reportedly seeking what could amount to millions of dollars in estate earnings.

Estate administrators John Branca and John McClain are seeking five percent of the money the estate has earned following Jackson’s June 25 death, says the Associated Press. The administrators and a host of attorneys claim in court filings they haven’t been paid since the King of Pop died.

The AP says Branca is requesting that the five percent be disbursed to his firm; he reportedly isn’t seeking a personal fee for administering the estate. Payments would also be funneled to other firms, including one that represents the Jackson children’s interests. A hearing to determine how much can be paid out is set for Jan 4.
