Friends and fans of Michael Douglas have been taken aback by the sad news that he has stage four cancer. One constant source of joy -- his beautiful wife Catherine Zeta-Jones. ET takes a look at their Hollywood romance!

The two first met at the Deauville Film Festival in France, where Catherine was promoting her first big movie, 'The Mask of Zorro.' Michael says he was immediately smitten.

Catherine noticed his affections immediately. At last year's American Film Institute salute to her husband, she told reporters, "Straight away, he was very direct that he wanted to be the father of my children."
