Martha Stewart’s Former Friend Tells All About the Woman Behind the Empire
Mariana Pasternak, the former longtime friend of Martha Stewart, is opening up to ET about the woman she knew for 20 years -- including how Pasternak saw Stewart handle her divorce and insider-trading trial.
In her new memoir, The Best Of Friends: Martha and Me, in stores March 16, Pasternak claims Stewart hurt herself and even pulled out wads of her own hair while dealing with her divorce from ex-husband Andy Stewart.
She also describes a heated fight she claims she witnessed between Stewart and then-boyfriend, billionaire Charles Simonyi, that took place after Stewart learned he had been seeing another woman.
