Madonna’s Daughter Lourdes Makes Blogosphere Debut

Lourdes Leon, the eldest child of Madonna, typed away to make her voice heard online. Emerging from the shadow of her superstar mom, Lola wrote her inaugural blog on Tuesday.

Her mom is famous for leg-warmers and teased hair, so it only seems fitting that the fashion-forward Hollywood offspring wrote in part, "The '80s are another huge obsession of mine…I'm still in love with brogues or as some people call them 'oxford shoes.'"

Lola has a big birthday to look forward to in October. Thirteen going on 14 means "I am finally allowed to dye my hair. Thank you Mother!," said the salon-bound teen. "My favorite color is black because it goes with everything and my least favorite color is brown because it resembles the color of something quite gross."
