John Mayer Donates Half Million Dollars to Haiti Relief

ET has learned that musician John Mayer has contributed $500,000 to the American Red Cross to help earthquake victims in Haiti. Read on for more…

In addition to his donation, made through his Back to You Fund, Mayer will also lend his song "The Heart of Life" to a new public service announcement released today.

Mayer performed the touching song on CNN's Larry King Live special, "Haiti: How You Can Help," which raised nearly $5.8 million for the American Red Cross. To help, please visit www.redcross.org or call 1-800-HELP-NOW.
