James Van Praagh Wishes Barbara Walters the Best

James Van Praagh, who last year warned Barbara Walters that she might face heart problems in the future (much to Walters' chagrin), tells ET he wishes "The View" co-host all the best with her upcoming surgery.

"Last year, during my appearance on 'The View,' Barbara Walters and I spoke backstage. I told Barbara in private that I saw an irregularity with her blood and to keep an eye on it. As an intuitive, I feel a responsibility to share what I see. Barbara was upset with my private comments and decided to share her concerns on 'The View.' Barbara overreacted on the show and called me 'dangerous.'

"Barbara and I always had a very friendly relationship prior to this, and her statement saddened me. My intention was to be helpful. Barbara is a remarkable woman and I wish her nothing but the best. I know everyone is praying for her safe surgery and recovery."
