Jackie Collins Is Back with a Juicy New Novel

Jackie Collins proves once again she knows how the rich are different. Today she released yet another Hollywood novel, Poor Little B***h Girl, and the setting is Tinseltown, New York, Las Vegas and Washington, D.C. and includes both a Hollywood murder trial and a political scandal!

"When I write my books people know that they are getting the real truth and not the front page of the tabloid, because I know every side of it," Collins told George Stephanopoulos on "Good Morning America" this morning.

Poor Little B***h Girl continues the saga of the Santangelos [remember Gino and Lucky?] with Annabelle Maestro, the daughter of two Hollywood icons, who runs a high-priced call-girl ring in New York. The murder of her mother brings the black sheep home to Los Angeles to mourn for a parent she never loved -- where she develops a relationship with the quick-witted lawyer, Denver, who's defending the No. 1 suspect in the murder: Annabelle's dad, film legend Ralph Maestro. Denver also manages the rescue of his missing friend, Carolyn, who is having an affair with a U.S. Senator.
