Hearing on Potential Charlie Sheen Plea Deal Delayed
A hearing about a possible plea deal for Charlie Sheen related to his domestic violence case in Aspen, CO has been delayed until July 12.
ET confirms that lawyers met Monday regarding the matter, and the prosecution and defense did not reach an agreement regarding disposition or agreement. It was requested to "vacate" the current hearing and reschedule a hearing for a later date. The judge granted a 30-day continuance and a hearing is scheduled for that July 12 date.
Earlier Monday, Yale Galanter, the attorney representing Brooke Mueller Sheen, confirmed a report to ET that Sheen made a plea deal that would include a 30-day jail sentence. Galanter tells the Associated Press that attorneys plan to meet Tuesday in Aspen to further discuss the case.
