Estate of DJ AM Settles Lawsuit Over 2008 Plane Crash
The estate of the late Adam "DJ AM" Goldstein has reportedly settled a lawsuit pertaining to a fatal 2008 South Carolina plane crash.
The Associated Press reports that the terms of the settlement weren't revealed. Goldstein had suffered injuries as a result of the plane crash that killed four people, and he was originally seeking $20 million in damages -- an amount that a jury would have had to approve.
According to the AP, the suit was later amended to include a wrongful death claim after the August 2009 death of Goldstein, who passed away due to an accidental overdose.
