David Copperfield Rape Investigation Closed
Illusionist David Copperfield reportedly won’t face charges from the federal prosecutors who investigated rape allegations against him for two years.
A court document filed Tuesday by Assistant U.S. Attorney Susan Roe indicates that prosecutors have closed the investigation, says the Associated Press.
Copperfield’s accuser, reportedly a former Miss Washington contestant, claimed the illusionist sexually assaulted her on his private island in the Bahamas in 2007. Copperfield’s lawyers said he denied the allegations.
