CA Attorney General’s Office Wants Dr. Conrad Murray’s Medical License Restricted
The office of California Attorney General Jerry Brown wants to restrict Dr. Conrad Murray from being able to practice medicine in California until the criminal case against him, pertaining to the June 25, 2009 death of Michael Jackson, is resolved.
ET has learned that the office filed a legal motion to restrict Murray's license until the criminal case against the physician concludes. The office calls Dr. Murray's alleged conduct "reprehensible."
The motion was filed on behalf of the Medical Board of California before Dr. Murray's April 5 hearing. The embattled physician, who has been charged with involuntary manslaughter and is no longer permitted to administer anesthetics, has pleaded not guilty and denied any wrongdoing related to Jackson's death.
