Sources tell ET that Burt Reynolds has entered rehab.

Sources go on to tell ET that drugs and alcohol are why the 73-year-old veteran actor is seeking treatment.

Burt is scheduled to start shooting a new film, 'A Fonder Heart,' with Louis Gossett Jr. and Daryl Hannah next week.
