Bristol Palin Feared For Her Safety After Email Hack

Bristol Palin took the stand today in the case against David Kernell, who is accused of hacking an email account belonging to her mother -- and then Vice Presidential candidate -- Sarah Palin.

The Associated Press reports Bristol testified that she was harassed by countless phone calls and text messages after her cell number was posted online due to the hack.

Kernell is not accused of making the calls. The 22-year-old is facing charges of identity theft, wire fraud, intentionally accessing an account without authorization, unlawful electronic transmission of material outside Tennessee and attempts to conceal records to impede an FBI investigation. He faces a maximum of 50 years.
