Bret Michaels Exits Hospital, Enters Center for Diabetics

Poison rocker Bret Michaels is reportedly out of the hospital but not out of the woods health-wise following his emergency appendectomy.

Michaels was reportedly discharged from a Texas hospital on Wednesday and is recuperating at a facility that specializes in rehabilitating diabetic patients, says People.com.

"While the surgery went well and doctors are optimistic that the rocker will make a full recovery, the fact that he was exhausted due to his rigorous schedule prior to the surgery and coupled with the fact that he has diabetes, the surgery has taken its toll," Michaels' rep says in a statement to the site.
