Adam Lambert Reaches Out to the People of Haiti
In the wake of the devastating earthquake last week that left Haiti in ruins, ET and The Red Cross are teaming up with the Hollywood community to lend support to the major crisis in Haiti and now best-selling singer Adam Lambert has come exclusively to the ET stage to help in the effort.
"The people of Haiti need your help," Lambert says. "The images are heartbreaking, the loss of life devastating, but tonight you can help the people of Haiti. Give whatever you can. Your contributions can help end the unimaginable suffering. Do something that will change a life, do something that will make a difference. Don't just let the images on television fade to black."
How you can help: Financial donations can be made at www.redcross.org, 1-800-REDCROSS or 1-800-257-7575 (Spanish) or mail your donation to the American Red Cross, P.O. Box 37243, Washington, D.C. 20013 or to your local American Red Cross chapter. The public can also help by texting "Haiti" to 90999 to send a $10 donation to the Red Cross, through an effort backed by the U.S. State Department. Funds will go to support American Red Cross relief efforts in Haiti.
