Steve Wynn is launching a new addition to his Encore Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas this Memorial Day weekend. Wynn says his newly opened Encore Beach Club presents "a terrific new opportunity for people who are staying at other hotels to come and be part of the scene here." The 60,000-square-foot venue features 40-foot palm trees surrounding three tiered pools. Gary Coleman, who made a lasting impression on television audiences as the child star of TV's "Diff'rent Strokes," has died after his life support was terminated, ET has learned. He was 42. The hospital where he was being treated tells ET: "Child actor Gary Coleman died at approximately 12:05 p.m. Mountain. Standard Time at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center. Family members and close friends were at his side when life support was terminated. Mr. Coleman suffered an intracranial hemorrhage at his home in Utah on the evening of May 26, 2010. As of mid morning on May 27, Mr. Coleman was conscious and lucid, but by early afternoon that same day, Mr. Coleman was slipping in and out of consciousness and his condition worsened. A hospital representative tells ET that Coleman suffered an intracranial hemorrhage on Wednesday night. After being immediately taken to a local hospital for treatment, he was transferred to another hospital for tests and treatment. Brittany Murphy's husband Simon Monjack was laid to rest at his funeral in Los Angeles on Thursday. Approximately 75 mourners gathered for the private service, which was held in the same memorial chapel where the late Murphy was eulogized, says People.com. Following the service, Monjack was buried next to Murphy at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Walters had planned on emceeing an event honoring Placido Domingo at El Museo del Barrio's annual gala at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City on Thursday. Instead, the recuperating "View" co-host wrote a letter to the famed tenor, which was read aloud at the ceremony by fashion designer Oscar de la Renta.
