Joran van der Sloot has been denied his request to void his confession to Peruvian authorities in the death of Stephany Flores. The Associated Press reports that Superior Court Judge Wilder Casique rejected the motion and the trial will continue without pause. A number of personal items from entertainment icon Marilyn Monroe went up for auction over the weekend, including her chest X-rays. ET has the details on how much the items were sold for on the auction block. Julien's Auctions sold a set of three of Monroe's X-rays taken from a 1954 visit to Cedars of Lebanon Hospital for a record $45,000. The pre-sale estimate on each X-ray was thought to be between $800 and $1,200.
