Radio host JoJo Wright of the nationally syndicated show "JoJo on the Radio" announced an ambitious plan Thursday to lend a hand to a different cause each weekday this summer. JoJo's schedule this summer already includes plans to "Leap for Life" out of an airplane on August 22 to support Lance Armstrong's Livestrong Foundation. The DoSomething.org Awards, set to air on July 19 on VH1, are also on his schedule. "I was thinking about getting involved with one charity this summer," Wright explained, "and then I thought, 'Why pick just one?' The former aide to John Edwards, Andrew Young, reacts to Edwards' wife Elizabeth opening up about her husband's scandalous affair with Rielle Hunter. When news surfaced that Hunter was pregnant, Young attempted to cover up the former senator's affair by saying that he was the father of the child. Edwards later admitted to being the biological parent of Hunter's daughter Frances Quinn. Earlier this week, Elizabeth spoke out about the affair but Young says he was not satisfied with her interviews, telling ET, "As much as I admire Elizabeth's resilience and understand her pain, I am disappointed that she is not yet facing the truth about the scandal that hurt so many people, and our country. Elizabeth Edwards told Larry King on Wednesday night that she was willing, at one point, to be the step-mother of John Edwards and Rielle Hunter's child. Elizabeth, who refrained from mentioning the name of her estranged husband's ex-mistress, said that while she's never spoken with Rielle, she has met Rielle and John's little girl, Quinn. ET has learned that police in Portland have decided to re-open a case involving former Vice President Al Gore, in which a woman alleges that she was "repeatedly subjected to unwanted sexual touching." The news comes one week after the Portland, Oregon Bureau of Police said the case was not being pursued and that Gore was never charged due to insufficient evidence. A rep for the Gore family tells ET, "Further investigation into this matter will only benefit Mr. Gore. The Gores cannot comment on every defamatory, misleading, and inaccurate story generated by tabloids. Joran van der Sloot was indicted on charges connected to the Natalee Holloway case by a federal grand jury in Alabama on Wednesday. Van der Sloot has been indicted in connection with allegations that he attempted to extort $250,000 from Holloway's mother, allegedly in exchange for information about the location of the missing woman's remains.
