Three-time Tony Award winner Carol Channing and her husband Harry are celebrating a major victory as they help restore the Arts back into the public school system.
On Tuesday the U.S. House of Representatives approved a resolution authored by Rep. Jackie Speier -- with encouragement and support from Channing -- expressing support for designation of the week beginning on the second Sunday of September as "Arts in Education Week."
Carol is currently embarking on a national campaign to bring the Arts back into public schools through The Dr. Carol Channing and Harry Kullijian Foundation for the Arts.

Zac Efron was recently spotted coming out of a strip club in New York City, and spoke to Jimmy Kimmel about how he broke the news to longtime girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens that he was going to the risque bar.
The actor admitted to going to the strip club with his "High School Musical" costar Corbin Bleu. "I'm not really the type of guy that does that kind of thing very often, but I had this image of what it would be like," he told Kimmel. He added jokingly, "I've heard a lot about these places, mostly from rap music. They're supposed to be pretty reputable. So I just envisioned myself on a nice couch in stunner shades with T-Pain and Usher making it rain money, and it just wasn't like that."

ET spoke with Zsa Zsa Gabor's husband Prince Frederic von Anhalt regarding a medical procedure the former actress is having done.
According to her husband, Zsa Zsa, 93, is currently undergoing a procedure to place a feeding tube in her stomach so she can get the nutrients she needs.
A few weeks ago, Zsa Zsa was admitted to the hospital after incurring a broken hip from a fall in her Bel-Air, CA home. She has been at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center recovering from surgery.

Hollywood.tv caught up with Mel Gibson's ex-girlfriend and mother to his child Oksana Grigorieva outside a Los Angeles, Calif. house where she angrily asked the paparazzi to go away.
Before even exiting her vehicle, Oksana asks the photographers, "Excuse me. Will you guys leave please?" One paparazzo continues to ask Oksana questions, to which she reacts, "I'll call the cops right now. Please leave right now ... I'm calling the cops young man. This is illegal."
Oksana, seemingly annoyed, yells to the man, "You're filming inside the private property, please leave right now!"

Lindsay Lohan's attorney says the jailed movie star is using her incarceration to do a lot of writing and she denied her client is receiving any special treatment. Lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley -- speaking Wednesday to Hollywood.tv after a visit to the jail -- said that while Lohan was tearful her first day, she is now handling the situation better. When asked whether her client still wears her hair extensions, Holley responds: "Her hair is in a bun -- she looks gorgeous." The attorney said she is not sure when Lohan will be released, saying she was "still trying to figure that out." Holley acknowledged that Lohan would likely be sent straight to rehab after jail, but said she is trying to make arrangements for her to have some time with her family.

In a new audio recording made public by RadarOnline, Mel Gibson leaves a much subdued voicemail to his ex Oksana Grigorieva in which he says he has concerns for her and the couple's baby and states that he wants to discuss "how we go further."
In the new 54-second voicemail -- which RadarOnline says was made the day after an enraged Gibson left dozens of expletive-laden messages for Grigorieva -- the actor uses no profanity, sounds drained and at times slurs his speech.
"Hi, I'm just calling, to, umm to check on, ah, your status -- the status of, um, bubby -- the baby," Mel says. He adds: "I want to talk reasonably about schedules and how we -- I haven't got a voice left -- how we go further, ummmm -- just reasonably."

In a wide-ranging interview appearing in Parade inside newspapers August 1, Hamm recounts the loss of his parents at an early age (His mother died when he was 10; his father followed 10 years later).

Seven doctors who treated the late Michael Jackson will reportedly not face charges related to his June 25, 2009 death. The Associated Press reports that investigators decided not to bring charges against the doctors. A rep for California Attorney General Jerry Brown told the AP Wednesday that one of the doctors has been referred to the state medical board for prescribing medication to a Jackson alias. The King of Pop's personal physician Dr. Conrad Murray pleaded not guilty last February to an involuntary manslaughter charge related to Jackson's death.
