ET has learned that Cher and Sonny Bono's child, Chaz Bono, will have his memoir released, chronicling his decision to transition from a female to a male.
The memoir -- currently titled Coming Clean -- is said to hit bookstores in Spring, 2011.
Cher opened up to People magazine in June regarding Chaz's decision, saying, "Chaz is embarking on a difficult journey, but one that I will support. I respect the courage it takes to go through this transition in the glare of public scrutiny, and although I may not understand, I will strive to be understanding."

After she made headlines for replacing Paula Abdul on the judges' panel of next season's "American Idol," Ellen DeGeneres is taking on critics who have questioned how qualified she is to judge the hit singing competition.
On Tuesday's episode of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," the comedienne and talk show host said:
"Apparently, there's a lot of debate going on right now, whether I'm qualified or not to be the new judge on 'American Idol'... I'll tell you right now, how I know I'm going to be a great judge -- because I've spent my whole life being judged. So, I know what it's like. So, I will be kind. I will be compassionate. I will be empathetic, and I will be truthful. I will be an honest judge without being mean.”

Legal reps for David Hasselhoff are disputing the Internet reports that claim the actor was taken to the hospital on Sunday for excessive drinking.
Hasselhoff's reps tell ET that he called the paramedics after he took a combination of the drugs Antabuse, which helps prevent alcoholics from drinking, and the drug Antivert, which he was taking to help treat an ear infection.
His reps say the drug combination interfered with his equilibrium and made him feel ill. He was released from the hospital after being treated for an hour.

Former "The Hills" star Lauren Conrad headed to the beach over the weekend -- and it was all for a good cause! The beauty, along with volunteers from Kohl's Department Store, took part in California Coastal Cleanup Day, presented by the California Coastal Commission and Whole Foods Market. Kohl's is an official sponsor of the event. The statewide beach and park cleanup was part of an effort to encourage Californians to care for the conditions of the ocean and state.

'Yes Man' actress and She & Him singer Zooey Deschanel has reportedly tied the knot to her indie rocker beau!
Deschanel, 29, and Death Cab for Cutie frontman Ben Gibbard, 33, said "I do" outside Seattle, Washington on Saturday, Usmagazine.com reports.
The couple got engaged late last year after dating for a year prior.

Ashley Greene and her new 'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse' costar Xavier Samuel were seen out on the town in Vancouver, Canada over the weekend -- but this isn't the first time the two actors have been spotted together.
Greene and Samuel were also photographed spending time together last August as they walked the streets of Vancouver.
In the 'Twilight' series, Ashley plays a vampire that is a member of the Cullen clan, while Xavier plays the role of Riley, an attractive vampire college student who assists in the plot to kill the protagonist Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart). Riley is described as a "newborn vampire" who teams up with villain Victoria (Bryce Dallas Howard) in this murder scheme.

A member of John Travolta's legal team is speaking out to ET about whether the star will testify in the Bahamas next week at the extortion trial tied to his teenage son Jett's death.
A legal representative for actor tells ET that if Travolta is called to testify, he will testify.
Pleasant Bridgewater, a former senator, and Tarino Lightbourne, an ambulance driver, have pleaded not guilty to conspiracy to commit extortion and aiding to attempted extortion.
