Steve Phillips -- former General Manager of the New York Mets -- has been fired from his job as a baseball analyst at ESPN, following reports that surfaced last week that Phillips had an affair with a female coworker. A spokesperson for the cable network released the following statement to ET: "[Phillips'] ability to be an effective representative for ESPN has been significantly and irreparably damaged, and it became evident it was time to part ways." ET has obtained court records released Friday indicating that Mayumi Heene told the police she and her husband Richard knew their little boy Falcon, who was feared to have floated off in a balloon device, was safe at home all along. The search warrant affidavit says Mayumi told investigators that the incident was a publicity stunt designed to enhance the family’s marketability to the press. The document says she and Richard came up with the alleged ruse two weeks earlier, and the balloon device "was specifically made to carry out this hoax. ... she and Richard had instructed their three children to lie to authorities as well as the media regarding this hoax." ET has obtained the temporary restraining order Justin Timberlake secured against an accused stalker. Karen McNeil, 48, is accused in the papers of being “an obsessed mentally unstable celebrity stalker” who, on Thursday, allegedly trespassed onto Timberlake's property and attempted to enter his home, “claiming that she knew him, was a friend and that he was expecting her inside.” The papers say Timberlake doesn’t know McNeil and they’ve never spoken.
