As rumors of infidelities surround him, Tiger Woods makes a new statement on his Web site today saying, "I have let my family down and I regret those transgressions with all of my heart."
He goes on to say:
"I have not been true to my values and the behavior my family deserves. I am not without faults and I am far short of perfect. I am dealing with my behavior and personal failings behind closed doors with my family. Those feelings should be shared by us alone.

Aspiring "Real Housewives" reality stars Tareq and Michaele Salahi have released emails through their attorneys that, they say, proves that they were invited to the White House State Dinner.
The emails, obtained by the "Today" show, show the couple corresponded with a top Defense Department official in the days leading up to the elite event that took place last Tuesday, Nov. 24.
Tareq and Michaele sent an email to Michele Jones, Special Assistant to the Secretary of Defense White House Liaison, thanking her for their invitation. They received a message back from Jones, reading, "You are most welcome! I here (sic) the smile in your email and am delighted that you and Michaele had a wonderful time. ... Have an extraordinary Thanksgiving and many blessings to you both."

Carol Burnett, George Lucas, and John Madden joined the ranks of personalities such as Tiger Woods, Clint Eastwood, Elizabeth Taylor, Quincy Jones, and Jack Nicholson as inductees of the California Hall of Fame. The star golfer currently involved in a controversy over alleged affairs was inducted in the 2007 class of honorees. Tiger was on the minds of those in attendance and they told ET their thoughts on this developing story. Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger called the champion golfer "a great athlete and he's a fantastic entertainer....when he plays golf and he's the greatest." His wife and founder of this hall of fame, Maria Shriver, said, "I think he's done a tremendous amount for this state and young kids all over this country. My heart's with him and his family." Sports Illustrated honored New York Yankee star Derek Jeter as their "Sportsman of the Year" in the Big Apple on Tuesday, and ET was on hand for the bash -- where baseball legend Cal Ripken, Jr. opened up about Tiger Woods!
"It's mind-boggling, it's kind of hard to believe," Jeter said of receiving the honor. "It was completely unexpected ... This is an award that has so much respect that goes in it."
Meanwhile Ripken, a former SI "Sportsman of the Year" himself, spoke out about the spotlight on Tiger (also a past winner of the "Sportsman" award).

The Florida Highway Patrol has completed its investigation into Tiger Woods' one-car accident that occurred last week, a law official said in a press conference on Tuesday afternoon.
The pro golfer was issued a moving violation for careless driving. This could mean a $164 fine and up to four points on Woods' license. The law official told the press that Woods had satisfied all requirements of Florida law and that there is "no pursuit of criminal charges."
Woods' lawyer told ET that his client is "pleased with the outcome."

Tiger Woods' alleged mistress Rachel Uchitel calls their rumored affair "ridiculous" -- and she's willing to take a lie detector test to prove her side of the story.
Speaking out to The New York Post, the NYC beauty says the tabloids got it wrong. "Not a word of it is true," Rachel says. "I told the [National] Enquirer and Star [magazine] that it wasn't true. I told them not only did I have information to disprove the story, but I offered to take a lie-detector test ... It's the most ridiculous story.
