Barack Obama and wife Michelle Obama traveled to Oslo, Norway for the president to receive the Nobel Peace Prize on Thursday. In his acceptance speech he acknowledged, "I am the Commander in Chief…in the midst of two wars." Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley have released a joint statement to ET about their daughter Alexa Ray's recent hospitalization. Joel and Brinkley's statement, which criticizes the New York Post, reads: "Every parent can imagine the pain and anguish we face as parents of a daughter who is working to recover from the dangerous actions she took while suffering a devastating heartbreak. The Washington D.C. couple who allegedly crashed a White House state dinner last month will reportedly be subpoenaed to testify by Congress. The Associated Press reports that lawmakers on the House Homeland Security Committee voted to authorize subpoenas on Wednesday that would call on Tareq and Michaele Salahi to testify about how they gained access to a November 24 party at the White House. The couple, speaking through their attorney, said Tuesday that they would plead their Fifth Amendment right and not answer any questions. Read More »
