Curtain Rises for Catherine Zeta-Jones on Broadway

Screen gems Catherine Zeta-Jones and Angela Lansbury are taking the stage of The Great White Way in "A Little Night Music." ET was there for opening night on Sunday. Catherine was happy to debut the production in front of her supportive family, including husband Michael Douglas. She told ET how the stage compares to the screen: "It's just really different. You can never ever, ever get that immediacy that you get on stage, live theatre. It's just something that I've missed…and now that I'm doing it again, I've realized how much I enjoy it and how much us actors enjoy that applause." President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama decked the halls of the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C. on Sunday for Christmas in Washington. Mary J. Report: Child Protection Investigators Visit Tiger Woods’ Home

Florida Department of Children and Families reportedly paid a visit to Tiger Woods' home, according to a story on Radar Online. Sources tell Radar that DCF officials were escorted by the Orange County Sheriff's Department to the pro golfer's home on Saturday afternoon. The sheriff's department released the following statement to ET in regards to Radar's report: "On Friday afternoon the Orange County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call for assistance from an investigator with the Department of Children and Family Services. The deputy responding was to meet with the DCF investigator at the front entrance of the Isleworth community, located in the unincorporated area of west Orange County. The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is not at liberty to discuss the reason for the visit, who was being contacted, nor the details of the complaint received by DCF. Accenture Drops Tiger Woods Sponsorship

Accenture Ltd. has reportedly cut ties with Tiger Woods after six years, making the global consulting firm the first major sponsor to altogether end their working relationship with the pro golfer after reports of infidelity emerged. "After careful consideration and analysis, the company has determined that [Woods] is no longer the right representative for its advertising," Accenture said in a statement, adding that the decision comes after learning of the "circumstances of the last two weeks." The firm's campaign with Woods had a slogan that read, "Go on, be a Tiger."  The firm is now planning to roll out new advertisements later in 2010. As for Woods' other sponsorships, Gatorade announced last week that it had discontinued Gatorade Tiger Focus but claimed that decision was made prior to the scandalous reports, while Gillette said it would not be airing ads featuring Woods or using him for public appearances. ... Former "Dancing with the Stars" and "The Bachelor" contestant Melissa Rycroft is celebrating her wedding weekend, according to a report. Rycroft was set to tie the knot with her insurance agent fiancé Tye Strickland in Mexico this weekend, reported People.com on Saturday. ‘CSI: Miami’ Star Jonathan Togo Arrested

ET confirms Jonathan Togo of "CSI: Miami" was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence early Saturday morning in Los Angeles. An LAPD rep tells us authorities arrested Togo around 2 a.m. after responding to a 911 call from his Hollywood Hills home. The actor’s girlfriend was allegedly involved in the incident. Togo has been charged with felony domestic violence. He was released at 10:30 a.m. after posting $50,000 bail. Read More »

Agent: Tiger Woods’ Family Needs Time to Recover

Tiger Woods' agent Mark Steinberg has released a statement to ET about Tiger’s surprise decision to take a break from golf following his admission of infidelity. “As his agent and friend, I stand fully behind Tiger and support his decision wholeheartedly," Steinberg says. Report: Pregnancy Complication Caused Duggar Baby’s Premature Arrival

Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar's 19th baby was born prematurely on Thursday night due to a rare condition that Michelle suffered while pregnant, according to a new report. Citing Michelle's doctor, People.com reports that Michelle suffered from a condition called Preeclampsia, which caused her to have high blood pressure and ultimately have to give birth to daughter Josie Brooklyn prematurely. According to People, the condition was discovered when Michelle was taken to the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences for a gall-bladder problem that brought on pain. Read More »
