Aerosmith rocker Steven Tyler has reportedly entered rehab to seek treatment for an alleged prescription-painkiller addiction.
Tyler, 61, checked into a facility for pain management and his alleged addition to painkillers, stemming from years of orthopedic injuries, reports People.com.
"With the help of my family and team of medical professionals, I am taking responsibility for the management of my pain and am eager to be back on the stage and in the recording studio with my bandmates Joe Perry, Joey Kramer, Tom Hamilton and Brad Whitford," Tyler says in a statement to the site.

ET has obtained court papers indicating that "CSI" star Marg Helgenberger's marriage with estranged husband Alan Rosenberg will be dissolved early next year.
The divorcing husband and wife will both officially become single in status on Feb. 1, 2010, the court papers say.
The documents also state that Helgenberger and Rosenberg have consented to a judgment on reserved issues, which establishes the terms upon which they’ve agreed to resolve issues such as division of property, spousal support and the educational expenses of their grown son Hugh.

Amy Heckerling, who directed Brittany Murphy in 1995's 'Clueless,' says she is "shocked and angry" about the star's death on Sunday and doesn't understand why nobody was "watching out with what was going on with her."
Heckerling tells Us Weekly that although she hadn't seen the actress in a year, there was talk about her behavior.
"I can't say that I noticed anything that led me to believe, 'Oh my God, this person is messed up.' But one hears rumblings. It's a small town, and you hear from other people on other crews, but that's all rumors and stuff."

ET has just obtained the newly released FBI documents regarding the late Michael Jackson.
Between 1994 and 1995 and then again between 2004 and 2005, Jackson was investigated by California law enforcement agencies for possible child molestation – which he was later acquitted of. The papers are in regards to the aforementioned molestation as well as an extortion threats against the singer.
Five of the files are in regards to child molestation and one file, opened in 1995, details a request made to the FBI to analyze a videotape provided by U.S. Customs Service as part of a child pornography investigation.
