Matthew McConaughey and girlfriend Camila Alves’ new bundle of joy has arrived!
The couple welcomed a daughter named Vida on Sunday at 12:13 a.m., the actor said in a post on his Web site. The baby weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces.
"'Vida' is Portuguese for 'life' and that's what God gave us this morning," McConaughey wrote. "Camila's recovering wonderfully and we are both truly honored to welcome this little lady into our family... thanks for all of your well wishes and prayers along the way, another blessed day, we give thanks, just keep livin, Matthew and Camila.”

Elin Nordegren (believed to be pictured above) reportedly celebrated the New Year's holiday in a snowy setting far away from her embattled husband Tiger Woods.
Reports say Elin and a group of close friends, including her twin sister Josefin, retreated to a luxurious chalet tucked away in France's Chamonix Valley, where they enjoyed plenty of R&R and some skiing on the picturesque slopes.
Tiger's wife was said to be in "great spirits" as she celebrated New Year's Eve at a popular Chamonix restaurant with her gal pals, sharing a champagne toast at midnight, reports Radar Online. And on January 1 (also her 30th birthday), Elin relaxed inside the posh chalet's cozy confines, says Us magazine.

ET confirms that comedian Artie Lange, one of radio icon Howard Stern's on-air sidekicks, has been hospitalized.
"We can confirm that Artie is in the hospital," a rep for Lange tells us. "Artie has chosen to keep all information on this matter between him and his doctor. There will be no further comment."
Lange was absent from Stern's Sirius-XM radio program in the days leading up to the show's two-week holiday break. The show is scheduled to return live on Monday.

Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley's musician daughter, Alexa Ray Joel, is speaking out following her hospitalization last month.
“Hey Everyone!!! I just wanted to thank you all for the incredible outpouring of love and support. It's certainly been a whirlwind of a month, but reading all of your encouraging posts has never failed to cheer me up!!!” Joel blogged Thursday on her MySpace account.
The 24-year-old singer/songwriter, who spent several hours at a New York hospital on Dec. 5 after reportedly consuming pills, went on to say that she has a number of “’exciting new developments for the New Year.”

AT&T has announced it is cutting ties with embattled golf great with Tiger Woods.
"We are ending our sponsorship agreement with Tiger Woods and wish him well in the future," the phone company said in a statement.
Earlier this month, the global consulting firm Accenture decided to end its working relationship with Woods, and Gatorade discontinued a Tiger-themed beverage. Plus, TAG Heuer and Gillette announced plans to scale back Woods' role in their marketing programs.

Conservative radio talk-show host Rush Limbaugh has been released from the hospital, and he reavealed what doctors told him about his heart health during a press conference in Honolulu on Friday morning. Limbaugh said he was taken to the hospital for treatment and tests on Wednesday afternoon after he felt “pain in my upper-left chest like I had never experienced before.” “Yesterday morning [Thursday] I had an angiogram, which is a catheter treatment through the heart, and they found absolutely nothing wrong,” he said. “It was a blessing -- no arterial disease, no coronary disease whatsoever.”

Los Angeles prosecutors have opted not to charge former boxing champ Mike Tyson following his arrest for an alleged altercation with a photog at LAX airport in November.
The prosecutors said they couldn’t find enough evidence to charge Tyson or photographer Tony Echeverria, reports the Associated Press.
The two men were arrested on Nov. 11 after an alleged incident in which both individuals claimed they’d been hit by the other.

Kim Kardashian hosted a pre-New Year’s Eve bash Tuesday night at Eva Longoria Parker's new Las Vegas nightclub, Eve, at Crystals in CityCenter.
Kim was joined at the party by her close friend Brittny Gastineau. They also dined together at Longoria Parker's new restaurant, Beso (an extension of her Hollywood restaurant), which is located right below Eve.
After their meal, they welcomed party-goers at Eve, hosted an early toast to 2010, and drank champagne and danced at their own private booth.

Arnold Mordkin, the chief deputy district attorney in Pitkin County, CO, tells ET he has taken steps to file paperwork opposing Charlie Sheen and wife Brooke Mueller's wish to have a Colorado court dismiss the protection order provided to Mueller.
Mordkin tells us his office typically opposes lifting a protection order in cases of alleged domestic violence. He says in this instance, he’s opposed to lifting sections of the order that prohibit Sheen from possessing a weapon, drinking alcohol or using drugs.
A court hearing regarding the motion is set for Monday morning.
