It was a shutterbug swarm as George Clooney and Elisabetta Canalis attempted to leave Ago restaurant in West Hollywood Thursday night.
George helped Elisabetta with her seat belt -- she was blinded by the light -- and then carefully drove off in his Lotus, taking care not to hit any of the paparazzi.

The paparazzi feeding frenzy to capture intimate moments on tape of Kat Von D and Jesse James has clearly begun!
The couple dodged video cameras on Thursday night while exiting the Wonderland gallery opening in West Hollywood where Kat told People magazine "I believe he is [the one]."
Jesse was seen attempting to dart away from the scene when one paparazzo asked "Do you regret cheating on Sandra". He eventually circled back to the passenger seat of Kat Von D's Bentley convertible and the two successfully escaped with only a minimal amount of insults hurled at them.

Did Ali Larter accidentally release the gender of her unborn child during a recent interview?
Evidently it's a boy! While promoting her new movie "Resident Evil: Afterlife," Ali admitted that she doesn't understand videogames, but will her baby be a gamer? "Well, after watching these movies and hearing all the gunfire I don't know what he's - it's - going to turn out like," the actress told Fox News -- apparently revealing that she is expecting to have a boy.
34-year-old Larter and her writer/actor husband Hayes MacArthur are expecting their first child this winter.

"Mad Men" star Rich Sommer, and wife Virginia, have a new addition to their family.
According to People.com, the couple welcomed Patrick Ryan Sommer into the world on Tuesday, August 31. Little Patrick weighed 7 pounds, 9 ounces.
"We are loving hanging with our happy, healthy baby boy, and appreciate our family and friends joining us in celebrating this exciting time," Rich told People.

Some fall in love at first sight, but for Kat Von D it took a bit longer to realize that Jesse James was "the one" for her. She arrived hand-in-hand with the newly single bachelor to her Wonderland gallery opening on Thursday in West Hollywood, CA.
She told People how they evolved into more than just friends, saying, "It was just like, 'Wow, I can't believe I haven't spent this much time with you the entire time I've known you.' Now I'm just embracing it and enjoying it."
Kat sees a future with Jesse, sharing, "I believe he is [my soul mate] ... "Jesse is only my ninth boyfriend. I don't hang out with anybody unless I am in love." They have found common ground in playing games like Scrabble and relishing in one another's "nerdy" sides.

In observance of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, survivors Melissa Etheridge, Olivia Newton-John, and more will share their stories of bravery. Their tales of triumph will be told during '1 A Minute LIVE Supporting Susan G. Komen for the Cure.'
In homage to the alarming statistic that one woman falls victim to breast cancer every 69 seconds, the title '1 a Minute' was conceived. The live event will incorporate a panel discussion with cancer survivors and celebrities touched by the devastating disease.
William Baldwin and Daniel Baldwin, whose mom battled the illness, and "Charlie's Angel"'s Jaclyn Smith, a survivor, also contributed their stories to the docu-drama. The film follows one woman's journey through the stages of breast cancer diagnosis and treatment, all while intertwining anecdotes from celebrities who have been affected.

A rep for Zsa Zsa Gabor's daughter Francesca Hilton says Francesca is "not sure if [her mother] really needed to be transported to the hospital at all" on Tuesday and accuses Gabor's husband Prince Frederic von Anhalt of fostering a "circus atmosphere" two weeks ago.
"Please know that Zsa Zsa was not in any life-threatening situation yesterday," Hilton's rep says. "Zsa Zsa's doctors told Francesca Hilton, her daughter, that it was only routine and that she was stable and responsive. We are not sure if she really needed to be transported to the hospital at all.
"Francesca is not pleased with the situation and the care of her mother and what has been happening to her while at home. It is not certain what kind of care and security she is receiving.

Catherine Zeta-Jones says she is "furious" at husband Michael Douglas' doctors for not detecting his throat cancer sooner. Watch the video! Could doctors have caught Michael's throat tumor sooner? Catherine tells People magazine, on stands Friday, "It makes me furious they didn't detect it earlier. He sought every option and nothing was found." On Michael's brave appearance on "Late Show with David Letterman" earlier this week, the Oscar winner said that he went through "a litany of doctors and tests" earlier in the summer for what originated as a sore throat and "they didn't find anything."
