Dr. Conrad Murray, who has pleaded not guilty to an involuntary manslaughter charge in the death of Michael Jackson, has agreed not to administer the drug that killed the King of Pop. A rep for Jackson's former personal physician tells ET that Murray and the Texas Medical Board have mutually agreed that Murray will be prohibited from administering or prescribing Propofol or other heavy sedatives. The Board's order does not, however, restrict Murray from prescribing pain medications and local or topical anesthetics. Vanessa Hudgens will perform in a new production of Rent at the Hollywood Bowl this August. The breakout "High School Musical" star will play Mimi in the musical, running from August 6-8 at the Bowl. The estate of Anna Nicole Smith has filed an appeal in the battle over her late oil tycoon husband's billion-dollar fortune. On March 19, an appeals court refused to grant Smith's estate any funds from her late husband J. Howard Marshall's estate, according to the Associated Press. Marshall died over a decade before Smith, and a court battle over his estate was ongoing at the time of her death. Smith's young daughter, Dannielynn, is the sole beneficiary of her estate.
