Dame Elizabeth Taylor spent the day with royalty on Thursday. She joined the heir to the British throne Prince Charles, as well as his father Prince Philip, for a celebration at Buckingham Palace to mark the occasion of the theater at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama being dedicated to her late former husband Richard Burton. Bret Michaels, who remains hospitalized after suffering a brain hemorrhage last week, is planning on resuming his tour next month, according to his Web site, which also offers a health update. A Wednesday post on the rocker and reality star's Web site says: "While additional studies are planned throughout the week to hopefully detect the exact cause of the rupture, Bret will remain monitored closely by his medical team to make sure no further complications occur. Felony charges against actor Randy Quaid were dropped Wednesday in California, while his wife Evi pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor. Evi pleaded guilty to the misdemeanor count of defrauding an innkeeper and was put on probation for three years and will be required to do 240 hours of community service. The Quaids had been charged with defrauding an innkeeper out of more than $10,000 in addition to conspiracy and burglary after they were accused of bailing on their bill after staying at the upscale San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara, Calif. The couple claimed to have later paid their bill, but authorities continued to pursue the case against them. Read More »
