"People Are Funny" and "House Party" host Art Linkletter has passed away," according to the Associated Press. He was 97. The TV personality, who was also famous for his book of children's sayings, Kids Say the Darndest Things!, died Wednesday at his home in Los Angeles. He is survived by his wife of nearly 75 years, Lois, and daughters Dawn and Sharon.

Mindy McCready's brother reportedly says his country singer sibling is out of the hospital.
McCready returned home on Tuesday from the Florida hospital she was admitted to earlier that morning, her brother tells the Associated Press.
A hospital spokeswoman wouldn’t specify why the former "Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew" patient was hospitalized, but ET obtained a 911 call in which a woman identifying herself as McCready's mother told the operator that McCready had taken pills.

ET has obtained the 911 call made seeking medical help for country music star Mindy McCready, who was admitted to a Florida hospital Tuesday morning. In the call, a woman tells the operator, "I don't know how many pills my daughter has taken…she's breathing ok, she's 34." When asked if her daughter is alert, the woman, who identifies herself as McCready's mother responds, "No, absolutely not." She also tells the operator that McCready had taken the pain killer Darvocet and that "she said something about a muscle relaxer."

Jesse James recalls how he broke the news to his estranged wife Sandra Bullock that he was unfaithful, and also responds to the photo of him giving a Nazi salute.
In the newest clip of "Nightline" correspondent Vicki Mabrey's exclusive interview with James, he remembers his confession to Bullock, saying, "I told her basically everything, that I had affairs outside of our marriage. ... I think she had her suspicions but I lied my way out of it. I lied to everyone, even myself."
He continues, "I told her I was going to get help and she told me she was proud of me."

In a People.com exclusive, the 20-year-old Joe says, "Demi and I knew going into our romantic relationship that it may not be an easy one. Jesse James' ex-wife Janine Lindemulder has filed court papers asking for child support if and when she regains joint custody of their six-year-old daughter Sunny.
James got full custody of little Sunny when Lindemulder was unable to care for Sunny because she went to jail. In the court papers, Lindemulder says "I anticipate regaining legal and physical custody [of Sunny]" at a June 14 review hearing. Since she says she only brings in about $3,000 monthly gross income, she's asking the court for child support and attorney fees to be paid by Jesse when she moves back to California from Oregon.
She writes in court papers, "I am completely broke, unable to obtain credit from any third party other than family, and I will incur substantial costs as a result of relocating to California." She also notes, "Simply stated, the disparity between [Jesse's] and my income is enormous."

John Forsythe was remembered at the Hollywood Park racetrack on Sunday, with such entertainment industry contemporaries as Mel Brooks, Dick Van Patten and Tippi Hedren, Cheryl Ladd and a many members of the "Dynasty" cast paying their respects in grand style to the late "Dynasty" star, who passed away on April 1 at the age of 92.
Forsythe was passionate about thoroughbred racing, and a well-respected and popular member -- and one-time vice president -- of Hollywood Park's board of directors. In fact, the voice of Charlie in "Charlie's Angels" once said he would rather win the Kentucky Derby than an Academy Award, and was involved in the sport for decades in numerous capacities.
