Melissa Etheridge Says Ex Used Kids as ‘Pawns’

The bitter feud between Melissa Etheridge and her domestic partner Tammy Lynn Michaels continues, with the rocker claiming in new court papers that Michaels "used our children as pawns." In the papers, the Grammy winner states that she cherishes every moment she can spend with her 3-year-old twins, Johnnie and Miller, and looks forward to their time together between tour dates. When she traveled to Boston on July 6 to visit the kids, she says she was served with court papers from Michaels instead. After nine years together, Etheridge has filed to end her domestic partnership with Michaels, and Michaels has struck back legally, seeking full custody of their twin toddlers along with spousal support. Rep: Oksana Grigorieva Did Not Release Alleged Mel Gibson Tapes

A rep for Mel Gibson's ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva tells Entertainment Tonight that she did not release explosive audio tapes purported to be of Gibson unleashing a verbal tirade against Grigorieva. He also addresses whether the tapes have been edited. Steve Jaffe, who represents Grigorieva, tells ET that the tapes were not edited, calling the reports that suggest they were edited "ridiculous." Mel Gibson’s Estranged Wife: Mel Was a Wonderful and Loving Father

Robyn Gibson, Mel Gibson's estranged wife, is reportedly standing up for the star in the wake of allegations of domestic violence made by his ex-girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva. "Mel never engaged in any physical abuse of any kind toward me before, during or after our marriage," Robyn said in a declaration to a Los Angeles judge, according to People.com. "Mel was a wonderful and loving father." The Oscar-winning star and his estranged wife are parents to seven children together and were married for nearly 30 years before splitting in 2009. Michigan Pair Convicted in John Stamos Extortion Plot

A Michigan couple has been convicted of trying to extort $680,000 from actor John Stamos by threatening to sell photos that the couple claimed showed the actor partying with strippers and using cocaine. Allison Coss, 24, and Scott Sippola, 31, were found guilty of conspiracy and using e-mail to threaten a person's reputation -- charges that could send them to prison for up to five years, the Associated Press reports. The couple was arrested in December in an FBI sting operation. FBI agents testified that a search of the couple's home failed to turn up any evidence of embarrassing pictures. Assistant U.S. Attorney Maarten Vermaat told the jury the couple's claims were "100 percent made up," and he described the attempt as a "get-rich-quick scheme." Read More »

Latest: Sheriff’s Dept. Has Mel Gibson Tapes

ET has learned that the controversial audio tapes, purported to be of Mel Gibson unleashing an angry rant on ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva, have now been turned over to Los Angeles Sheriff's detectives. The court has released the tapes to the detectives handling the Gibson domestic violence investigation. The headline-grabbing audio tapes will also be reviewed by forensic detectives. Sexy Pamela Anderson PETA Ad Banned in Montreal

A new ad for PETA featuring a scantily clad Pamela Anderson has been rejected by authorities in Montreal, Canada.  The ad shows Anderson's nearly naked body covered in paint markings mimicking a butcher's diagram -- parts of her flesh marked "breast," "round," and "rump" -- along with the caption: "All Animals Have the Same Parts. Have a Heart -- Go Vegetarian." In a statement, Montreal's municipal government said it regretfully could not endorse the PETA image. Mel Gibson Investigated for Assault With a Deadly Weapon

The Los Angeles County Sheriff confirms that it is now investigating Mel Gibson on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.   The Sheriff's Department previously confirmed that it is already investigating the star for a possible domestic violence incident involving his ex-girlfriend and the mother of his child, Oksana Grigorieva. Mel Gibson’s New Rant: Millions Spent on Oksana Ruined Me

In the latest Mel Gibson audio tape to go public, the actor angrily tells his girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva that he doesn't "have any [expletive] money" after spending millions of dollars on her during their relationship.  In the new audio -- the fifth containing a recorded conversation between Gibson and Grigorieva released by RadarOnline.com -- the actor is once again heard shouting loudly and panting heavily at times during an expletive-laden rant. "You don't care about anyone but yourself and your stupid [expletive] failed career," Gibson screams. The actor continues his rage: "I don't have any [expletive] money.
