Judge Refuses to Dismiss Letterman Extortion Case

ET has the latest... Joe Halderman, the man accused of trying to extort millions from David Letterman, was in a New York court today requesting that the criminal case be dismissed. The judge ruled against the motion and the next court date is set for March 9. Halderman is being accused of threatening to expose Letterman's affairs unless the "Late Show" host paid him $2 million. Wyclef Jean on Haiti Visit: ‘Inside the Belly of the Beast’

Haitian-American musician Wyclef Jean got emotional about traveling to Haiti with his family after last week's devastating earthquake, calling the experience like going "inside of the belly of the beast." "I'm the one that was carrying the dead bodies on the street," he said during a New York press conference Monday, referring to looting and security problems, "There's a problem that's going on, and we have to solve it in a few days."
