Report: Swiss Authorities Told U.S. Polanski Was to Visit

According to a report, Swiss authorities told U.S. authorities that Roman Polanski was going to be visiting Switzerland.

The Associated Press reports that the Swiss Federal Office of Justice tipped off U.S. officials on September 22, days before Polanski was to arrive in Switzerland to receive an honor at the Zurich Film Festival.

According to the AP, Polanski had visited Switzerland frequently previously.
