‘Balloon Boy”s Dad’s Prior Arrest Revealed

Richard Heene -- father of "balloon boy" -- has a history of trouble with the authorities. 

ET confirms that father of three has a prior arrest record.

Heene was arrested for vandalism in April of 1997. He plead no contest -- which means he accepted the punishment without admitting guilt -- and was sentenced to 30 days in jail and two years probation.
